Naturism on the Isle of Wight

Naturism has been practiced on several beaches on the Isle of Wight for many years, and though they are not ‘official’ naturist beaches it is well accepted there, and is frequently attended by island naturists.
In the past there have been naturist resorts at Woodside and Blackgang. Nowadays, the needs of many local and visiting naturists are catered for by Valerian Sun Club, which is a members club affiliated to British Naturism, with its own 6 acre site and basic facilities here on the Island. Our grounds are a beautiful oasis of tranquillity where we can relax in our own way, totally legally, in complete privacy. Our membership includes couples, families and single people.
